CORONER'S COURT.
LOCOMOTIVE ACCIDENT
The inquest touching the death of Alasdar Gordon Munroe, the young postal official who was knocked down by a locomotive at EHerslie station on April 30, was concluded before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., yesterday afternoon.
• The coroner returned a verdict that deceased died in the Auckland Hospital from shock and injuries received through being knocked down by a locomotive. The driver of the engine, James Reardon, and the fireman, Frederick Cotter Cunnold, were in no way to blame, said the coroner.
