TWO TRAMCAR MISHAPS.
COLLISION AT PARNELL. CAR DISRAILED IN QUEEN STREET. Two outward-bound tram cars collided in Parnell Road, near the lower end of Birdwood Crescent, at about 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. The front car had its rear platform considerably damaged, the apron being practically torn off. Tlie other car was only slightly damaged. The first car had just left a stopping place when the second car crashed into it. There were few passengers in either tram and all escaped without injury. A second tram car mishap occurred shortly before 6 o'clock the same evening, when an outward-bound car left the rails at the corner of Queen and Wellesiey Streets. Both inward and outward traffic was held up for about 12 minutes, and before the tram was replaced on the rails there was a line of cars extending down Queen Street as far as Wyndham Street.
