NEW GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
TAKAPUNA CONTRACT LET. The Auckland Education Board has let the contract for the erection of the new Grammar School at.Takapuna to Messrs. W. J. Grevatt and Son. The contract price is a little over £36,300. It is understood that the work of erection will commence in the near future, and it is hoped to have the building ready for occupation at tlie beginning of next year. Tlie foundation stone wns laid by Sir James Parr prior to his departure for England.
