SATURDAY'S CLUB MATCHES. THE AUCKLAND CLUB. The second round of the E. X Bloora--Beld bowl competition was played at Middlemore on Saturday. A match was played by the junior anrt C grade members of the Auckland Ladies Golf Club last Friday for prizes presented by Mrs. L. C. Rathbone. Good entries were received, and the course was in good Drder in spite of the recent rain. Following were the best scores:—Juniors: Mrs. 3rant. 100—24—76: Mrs. E. B. Brown, 115—34—SI: Miss F. There was a large attendance and the links were in first-class order. PAPAKURA LADIES' CLUB. The monthly medal match played by members of the Papakura Ladies' Golf Club on Saturday was won by Miss Rhind, with a net score of 84. LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Auckland provincial ladies' golf championship and handicap tournament will commence at Middlemore to-morrow, and will be continued till Friday. To-morrow morning the qualifying round of the championship and a medal handicap in conjunction will be played. In the afternoon there will be a Canadian foursome competition. Owing to the large number of entries received for the qualifying round the first, pair will start at 9 o'clock, instead of 9.30.
