NORTH KAIPARA SHOW.

The North Kaipara Agricultural Society's annual meeting was held on Monday night. Mr. J. F- Mills (Ararua) presided. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £7 15/9. The report stated that there had been extensive activities during the year, including experimental tree planting on the society's grounds, linking up with the Royal Show and plant section of the Acclimatisation Society. It was resolved to combine the offices of secretary and treasurer On account of lack of interest by members, nearly half of whom had not paid the annual subscription, the president moved, as a test question, "That the hold ing of the annual shows should cease."
