DRURY NOTES.
Further development of the social atmosphere in Drury was evidenced at a public meeting held in the local hall on Thursday evening. The gathering was for the purpose of forming an indoor sports club. About 40 people were present and the meeting was enthusiastic. It is the intention of the club to hold a series of evenlnps through the coming winter, when competitions in ping-pong, quoits, etc., will occupy a prominent part in the proceedings. Tho initial meetina of the newly-formed club will take place on Thursday next. The following officers wero elected : Patron, Mr. K. D. McLennan. M.I". ; president, ltcv. Hubbard : hon. streretn ry.
