MOTORS THAT VANISH. EPIDEMIC CONTINUES UNABATED. FOUR MORE OFFENCES. Four more instances,of motor stealing occurred yesterday and early this morning. One of the cars, which was taken out of the garage of Jclin \V. Andrew and Son. Ltd., yesterday afternoon, was recovered this morning in the vicinity of the Mount Eden railway station. A fivc-seater Chevrolet car, the property of Mr. Alfred Charles Tame, of 3, Ingram Road, Remuera, was removed from the parking area in Symonds Street, near Grafton Bridge between S p.m. and 10 p.m. A five-seater Chrysler, belonging to Mr. Benjamin Rosen, of 6, Derry Street, Green Lane, was taken from Wyndham Street between 3.30 p.m. and 7.45 p.m. The car is blue in colour. A seven-seater Westcott, No. 15-994. was stolen from the Great South Road between eleven o'clock last evening and 7.30 this morning. It is the property of Mr. Sidney Clerey, of the Harp of Frin Hotel, Ellerslie. and is dark green in colour with black mudguards and hood. At an early hour this afternoon no trace had been discovered of any of the three missing cars. A five-seater Armstrong Siddeley car, which was stolen from a private earaee at Arapuni on March 17, has not vet. been recovered. Tlip car is practically new and is No. 59-724. engine No. 12-002 and chassis No. 17-007. A suhetantial reward is b^in" , offered liv Sir tV. O. Armstrong. Whi+worth and Co.. Ltd..
