a — f V* (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) ' "- : - DARGAVILLE, this day. ■a. At the Police Court to-day, before % Mr. F. H. Levien, SJVf., William McJ_i Bride,, alias McDonald, was placed on ' |£ twelve months' probation for theft of a *f rug and soap from the Northern Wairoa Hotel. A youth named W. M. Wyatt, aged 20, was convicted and '■■ S, fined £5 and costs, for using .obscene , "ZL language at .Pukehuia Public Hall. ' '■'.' Frederick Williams (20) was charged that on April 21 he did unlawfully , _-„ assault a fifteen-year-old Dalmatian I «> e^ l by catching her by the arm while ; "T'Sfißhe w_s' riding on horseback on the *m Te Kopuru-Tikinui road. Accused was convicted and fined £10 and costs.
