TRUCK DRIVER INJURED.
\ ARM BADLY BROKEN. (From Our Special Correspondent.) OTOROHANGA, Tuesday. Whilst starting the engine of a motor truck owned by the Fanners' Co-opera-tive Auctioneering Company this afternoon, the driver, Charles "Knight, had his arm badly broken in two places, through the motor back-firing. He was attended to by Dr. Dean, and was kept under chloroform for some hours. He will he taken to the Waikato Hospital for X-ray treatment to-morrow Wednesday. About an hour after the accident, as the truck was going on its rounds, it suddenly burst into flames, , which, were promptly put out by the , driver then in charge with liquid mud from the roadside.
