MILL HAND KILLED.
CRUSHED BT LOGS. A RUNAWAY TRACTOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Tuesday. A fatality occurred at Rotomanu to a mill -worker, William Duss, aged 40, recently from Southland. With a mate named Wallace he was trucking logs to the mill when the loco-tractor broke away. Wallace jumped clear, but Duss remained on the locomotive, which jumped the rails, the logs crushing deceased. He leaves a wife and child.
