OBITUARY.
MR. HENRY CRUST. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, Monday. The death of Mr. Henry Crust occurred to-day after a prolonged illness. He was born at Wainfleet, Lincolnshire, England, and in the year 1847 he, wLth his parents, left for Victoria. Mr. Crust was educated there, and in the year 1862 came to New Zealand. He was engaged in stock riding on a station in the South Island for three years. Afterwards he went to Dunedin, where he started business with the late Mr. Duncan Campbell, and later founded the carrying and forwarding business of Crust and Crust. He was for many years a member of the Dunedin City Council. He was an expert in native shrubs, of which there is a fine collection at his home. He leaves a widow and family.
