PRESENTATIONS.
A r presentation was made at Penrose to the Rev. W. Parker, who for the past year has'had sole' charge of the One-. hunga Methodist circuit. ' In presenting Mr. Parker with two volumes of Dr. Hal-ting's dictionary of the Bible*:• MrAllison, referred to the. Stirling qualities of the minister, and to'his abilities as a ■ Preacher. His fine disposition had won . the hearts of both young and old. Mr. George Phillips was last evening farewelled hy a large gathering in the Salvation Army barracks, Albert Street, and presented with a; travelling j rug as , a mark of esteem from the Auckland - branch. He leaves for England next week by the Niagara. . ' y'y
