RUGBY FOOTBALL.
HATCH PRACTICE GAMES.
The final practices in the Rugby code will be held to-morrow afternoon, in preparation for the opening of the season the following Saturday. In several instances clubs -whose training and team selection are well forward are holding matches with other clubs. Ponsonby seniors are travelling to Pukekohe to play a Franklin team, while Grammar Old Boys and Marist Old Boys have arranged to play matches in first, second and third grades at Eden Park. The Grafton senior team..: Y?W play a North Shore team at Devonport. Other clubs will practise either on their home grounds, or at the Show Grounds at allotted hours. Teams: — GRAMMAR OLD BOYS. Seniors.—Badeley, Gardiner, Singleton, Ooodacre, Eady, Monteith, Wilson, Ifwersen, McWilliams, Wright, Comes, Low, Clark, rotter, Peacock, Knight, Whelan, Gould, Duddlng. First Junior Grade.—McCarthy, Skelton, Watkins, Gladding, Potter, Blasett, Kinnear, Moses, Haggltt, A. F. Wilson, Hook, ,Bnell, T. Kevelt, Barton, Hilton, Oould. All other teams will play at Show Grounds at 2 p.m. a- MABIST OLD BOYS. Seniors.—Harris, Broderlck, O'Brien, Stltchbury, Loft, Brodle, Wright, Millar, Hadley (2), Bauch, Cotter, Casey, Culpan, McDonald, Stewart, Bradanovitch, Butler, Prendergast.
