BOY BADLY INJURED.
. • DANGEROUS PRACTICE. (By Telesrapi;. -Press Association.) STRATFORD, this day. A dangerous practice indulged in by children of hanging to the back of motor lorries, caused a serious accident, resulting in a seven-year-old boy named William Morrison, being admitted to the hospital, where he lies in a serious condition. With two other boys he clung to the back of a motor lorry, and, when trying to get down had one arm caught between a wheel and the mudguard, being dragged some distance before falling to the road. The driver of the lorry was not aware that the children were clinging behind, or that an accident had occurred. One of the boy Morrison's toes was torn off and his left forearm badly lacerated, practically all the skin being off. He was also badly bruised and i» suffering from shock.
