FRENCH COUNTER-ATTACK. RIFFS DISLODGED. PARIS, March 4. A message from Morocco states that the French forces promptly counterattacked after the advances made by Abd-el-Krim's army. They were mostly ' successful in dislodging the invaders. | It is intended to limit the present i operation to the expulsion _of the Riffs, | and to postpone further activities until i April, when the weather and roads should be more favourable. | Official circles are of opinion that I Krim will shortly seek peace. They i think his present military activity aims j at increasing his bargaining powers.— ("Times.")
