FORGERY BY A STUDENT.
TWO YEARS' PROBATION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Frank Cromwell Moore, aged 18, a student, was admitted to probation for two years without special conditions on a charge of forgery and uttering. His offence was the forgery of a savings bank withdrawal slip. He copied a name from the bank book, which name was written by a post office official. He admitted the book was not his, but he said he had authority to use it. which was untrue. Suppression of his name was refused-
