CRICKET.
FINAL CLUB MATCHES. NORTH SHORE AT EDEN PARK. CHAMPIONS V. RUNNERS-UP. The chief attraction in the cricket matches to-morrow afternoon will be the game between North Shore anel Eden teams at Eden Park, where also Grafton and University will be' engaged. At the moment North Shore has a practically unbeatable position in the championship, with Eden as runners-up, but the latter team is confident that it is able to check North Shore's unbroken succession of wins. When these teams met previously , on the North Shore wicket, the Shore team, in addition to what advantage accrues from being on the home pitch, had rather the better of the wicket conditions in that they had first strike on a good wicket, and when the game was resumed some weeks later the Eden team had to bat on a pitch that had been affected by rain. This time Eden will be on their home wicket, but the luck of the game will decide which team shall get any advantage from the weather conditions. The other senior game of the day, that between Ponsonby and Parnell, will be played on the North Shore ground. The teams are:— NORTH SHORE. Seniors.—Dacre. Frater, Elliott, Scott, Pla*er, Gerrarel.
