THE PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP. The second stage of the Auckland Centre's pairs championship tourney occurreel yesterday, when three rounds ot* interactional play were completed, a feature of the concluding play of the day ' being the defeat of Walker by De Launay. Murray, Mason anel Clark with one life. On Wednesday. Dann depeated' Murray and Clark defeated Mason. The final between Dann and Clark takes place on Friday evening and should prove a gooel same. Next Weelnosday there will be an all day tourney ou tbe rzreen and there is room for two more rinks only.
