HAIRDRESSERS.
CARE AND CLEANLINESS. REGULATIONS DRAFTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Regulations drafted to govern the conduct of hairdressers' establishment require scrupulous care and cleanliness with all brushes, combs, hair dusters, scissors, clippers, gowns and other implements, or articles used therein. The local authority shall be satisfied of the suitability of premises before registering the same as a hairdresser's shop, which shall be registered annually. Registration may be cancelled or refused at the discretion of the local authority if premises are not properly conducted. A breach of the regulations will involve liability to a penalty up to a £10 fine.
