Washington, Captain Raold Amundsen repeated his assertion that there is no hope for the success of Polar expeditions which rely upon aeroplanes! " lie said his own experience had taught him that aeroplanes could not be depended upon for long Polar flight. No aeroplane was safe enough for that purpose. — (Reuter.)
