FORTY-FOUR HOURS' WEEK.
SYDNEY, February 12. The Clyde Engineering Company intends to test the validity of the Fortyfour Hours' Week Act. It has applied to the High Court for a writ of prohibition directed against the magistrate who recently ruled that the company -was Kable for the payment of overtime for *H time worked over 44 hours a week.— .(A. and N.Z.
