An inquest into the circumstances Mirr<<u[i<liiis the death of Miss Mary E. >. i;tr. 'V 2 year*, who was found dead at her residence. 17. Park Road, on Saturday. was held before the coroner (.Mr. J. \\. L'oynton. >S.M.) yesterday. L)c'-p;iHC(I. who had been in training at the Karitane Hospital, Dunedin, returned home about a fortnight before Christmas owing to a breakdown in health. She had been confined to her bed at intervals, but was able to move about. On Saturday she had been cleaning a shed at the rear of the house, and was found on a bed by her brother. She frave the appearance of being dead, and Dr. Horsley was summoned, but deceased was past her help. Evidence was given by the brother ami mother, who stated that deceased had been despondent for the last six weeks, and had complained of beinsr unwell Dr. R. W.
