The Lord of the Little People, Gentle and very wise, Walking Ills woods in the twilight, Harks in His children's cries: And His tender month is wry with pain, And terrible are His eyes. The Lord of the Little P.?nple, Who may divine what stirs His heart, as He 9-ekS in the twilight The gongs of His worshippers, . And hears but whimpers and squeals 01 pain , From creatures in pluxe3 and furs.
