Earl 7ln the morning, -when the fierce «nn The conquest of a neve-born day has won, The 'larfc soars to his throne of fleecy clond, And humbly forth he pours his praises load To God, within the gates of Heaven geated. And when his choral Master has greeted Been, the lark sails, free as joy, light as air, Upon a sea of blue, sans toil, sans care. Then when sad twilight comes to mourn the sun, He sinks to this base earth, his day's work dope.
