SUDDEN DEATHS.
■ 6 ■ TWO ELDERLY WOMEN EXPIRE. j Two elderly women, aged 72 and ~S j years, died suddenly yesterday j " Helen Simpson, aged -2. or 93 Clarence Street. Ponsonby. was found dead at her home about six o'clock last evenin- Yesterday morning she was in her usual good health, working about the house, though she had complained a day or two ago about pains round the heart. When her daughter returned home last evening she found her mother on the floor in the breakfast room. Dr. Ha»tings was called in but he could only say that she was dead. He was of the opinion that death was due to natural causes. Eliza Titchener. 7S years or age. was found dead in her bed yesterday. The j family, it is said, was away camping. her son was travelling, and deceased was in the house br herself. An inquest | was held, and all the circumstances, pointed to the fact chat deceased died | in her sleep. , . j
