i FARMER'S DANGEROUS DEVICE. ; (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) _*, WELLINGTON, thiß day* '• A more or less jocular story is being circulated, of a farmer who cured a fence-breaking cow by electrifying the wire of the fence. The electrical authorities, however, take a very serious view of it, and have issued a solemn warning against anything of the kind. Both men and animals have been killed by fence, wires accidentally electrified, and the authorities consider this bad enough, without deliberately inviting risks from 230 voltage. _j
