Mr. J. W. Simes, of Christchureh, is at Hotel Cargen. Mr. J. S. Dickson, M.P. for Parnell, returned this morning from Wellington. Dr. T. H. A. Valintine (DirectorGeneral of Health), Wellington, is.at the Grand Hotel. Mr. George Collins, of Takapuna, assistant engineer at the Auckland Gasworke, Teceived by mail yesterday the certificate of an associated member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, London.
