It was reported that the decisions of tne , Rules of Golf Commitee of the Royal and Ancient .Club have now been reprinted up to 1934, and it was resolved to cable Home an order on 22nd December for all clubs which have advised us of their requirements by that date. The secretary of the •Soyal and Ancient advised us of a recent decision to add a note to Rules 22 and "23 as follows:—"A provisional ball may only be played under the second section of -this rule before the Player or his partner coes forward to search for the ball which has been played with the previous stroke."
