HOSPITAL TBAINING MOOTED. AN AUCKLAND PROPOSAL. i ■ _____ ' ' A proposal to grant facilities at Auckland for hospital training for medical students during their sixth years of study received the consideration of mem:i,v, bers of the University College Council last evening: ; Mr. Kenneth Mackenzie stated that the University Commission had suggested ! that medical students in their final year a training at the Otago University should be given facilities for hospital work in cities other than Dunedin. The Auck- , land Hospital had been specifically mentioned by the commission. Mr. Mackenzie had learnt from the chairman of , the Auckland Hospital Board that the facilities .would be available.'
