SWAGGER FOUND DROWNED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, Monday. The body of an elderly swagger was found in the bed of the Manawatu River at Ngawapurua by two anglers. It had evidently been in the water for some time. The remains have been identified ias a man who, crossed the oh November 9, when he went to Oete station. It is assumed he met his death recrOssing the river later in the day.
