THOUSAND BABIES A YEAR.
SAVED BY SIR F. TRUBY KING'S METHODS. (By Telegraph.—l'reis Association.* DUNEDIN, this day. Delegates to the annual conference of tbe Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children were accorded a civic welcome to-day. The Mayor, Mr. Tapley, M.P., paid a tribute to the work of the society and to Sir F. Truby King, remarking that the latter's methods liad resulted in saving one thousand babies yearly, and tbe people of the Dominion could not do too much to aid such work. He also emphasised the debt of gratitude to Lady King for her self-sacrificing labours.
