CHOKED IX ITS SLEEP. (By Telegraph— Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHTRCH, this day. An Infant about two months old dl« at Tinwa'.d under remarkable circumstances. The mother. Mrs. VV. Lambert, stated that Dr. Mullin, when called »' eight o'clock in the morning, W™ that the child was dead. Dr. M* stated that ho found at the back « the babvs throat, just over the aperture of the* htrvnx. a collection of «"*" looked like woollen fibres. He conaw the child was also suffering «jj purulent bronchitis. It was _P° = -. that the child was in the habit of «gjj the end of its blanket or a WXJg shawl that the mother had. «n«g around its shoulders. ■ The unmg cause of death was probably aflgj caused by the larynx becoming woes by the ema'l woollen fibre. ■ "The coroner returned B «*£» accordance with the medical evidence.
