THE EXHIBITION.
A REMARKABLE ATTENDANCE. ;By Telegraph.— : rress Ass'v.pHnn.W DUNEDIN, this day. ' Last night, marked the close of the second week of the New Zealand and South Seas International Exhibition. The attendance for 12 days had reached the surprising record of 230,793. As for half of the time the weather was as bad as it ever! is in midwinter, this remarkable record-is striking proof of the way in which the Exhibition has o-ripped the public. When the summer settles and holiday crowds arrive eyen greater .results may be expected. Yesterday a return 'of fine weather was reflected in an attendance of 16,148. The river cave ride and water chute is now running and is immensely popular.
