ROWING.
NORTH SHORE CLUB. To-morrow afternoon the official opening of the North Shore Rowing Club will take place, when an "At Hme' , will be held in the cluljhouse, King Edward Parade; Trial fours will be rowed for trophies donated by the president, Mr. T. Lamont. The following crews have been selected: —D. Davies, A. Coates, K. Korns, W. C. Challenger; R. Oliphant, J. Meeklejohn, J. McLoughlin. J. McGann; «5. Butland, W. Atkin, W. IMcLeod, J. Greenwood; W. Dean, R. Follas, P. Cameron, R. Bxton. During the afternoon an invitation eightoar race will be rowed with the Auckland Club. The North Shore crew > is:— t). Davies (stroke), XV. Dean (7), R. Oliphant (6) S. Butland (5), R. Follas (4), W. Atkiu (3), J. McLoughlin (2), A. Coates Cbow). St. George Club will row a set of subscription trials to open their season. Waitemata Boating Club will also row a set of trial fours.
WEST END CLUB. The offlcial opening of the "West End Club will be held to-morrow, when an "At Home" will be held in the boathouse, St. Mary's Bay. Trial fours will be rowed for the Thomas Peacock Shield, and trophies presented by Mr. J. A. Peacock. If sufficient inducement offers a veterans' race will be rowed.
