MINORITY MEMBERS.
NINE IN NEW PARLIAMENT. MOST? OF THEM REFORM. The ' greatest defect of the existing electoral system is that it allows candidates (and governments) to be elected on a the votes cast. In the present contests njiie men have been elected who failed to poll more votes than the aggregate recorded by their opponents. Of these nine no less than five are Reform, two Nationalists, one Liberal and one Labour.
