ACCIDENT ON RAILWAY.
CHILD SEVERELY INJURED. (By Telegrnnh. —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. •Toan Phillips, a child two years and four months old, strayed on to the railway line about 200 yards south of Tawa Flat Station this morning, and was struck by the erginc of a train which was on its way from Palmerston to Wellington. The child was immediately brought to Wellington, and was admitted to the hospital. The authorities report that injuries to her head and face are serious.
