" NUTREAD " REBUILT TYRES. Considerably Benefit Motorists. The scores of letters we have received from prominent Auckland motorists telling us of the mileage achievements of "Nutread'' Rebuilt Tyres conclusively prove that this new process ii a colossal success. There are cases on record where "Nutrea'd" Tyres actually have outrun new tyres—while several have travelled many thousands of miles with little signs of wear. A significant fact is that there has not been one complaint about them. . . Nothing but enthusiastic praises. Every motorist is urged to test at least one "Nutread" Rebuilt Tyre. Simply send along a worn tyre—we will completely rebuild it and return it to you equal to new. Remember, although "Nutread" Rebuilt Tyres wear as'good as new ones, they cost practically half as much.—The Nutread Tyre and Rubber Co.. Ltd., Logan Building.?, Beach Road, Auckland.—(Ad.)
The unseasonable weather has not only hampered operations in regard to seed sowing in Otago Central, but the sheep farmer is having an anxious time (states an exchanV). Lambing ia fairly general in the dilrict, and it ia only to be expected tISt a certain amount of mortality will occur. In certain potions of the district hawks are attacking the lambs. This is thought to be due to the scarcity of young rabbits, a great number of "which have been drowned during the wet weather experienced of late. The lambing has not commenced on high country in this district. The dairy farmer ia loud in his .lamentation*, aa feed ban not made the progress it would have done in a normal spring and hand-feed-ing has still to be resorted to.
