MOTOR BIKE AND VAN COLLIDE.
MAN'S LEG FRACTUEED. A collision between a motor van owned by Mr. F. Collins and a motor cycle ridden by Mr. A. Newth, occurred on Friday night at the junction of George Street and Kaiwaka Road. Waiuku. Tlie cycle struck the hub of the front wheel of the van, and Mr. Newth was thrown heavily, sustaining a compound fracture of the leg, and injury to the knee cap. The sufferer was conveyed to the Franklin Memorial Hospital, and was later sent to Auckland for X-ray examination.
