j MB. KXRTON EXONERATED. I BATAYIA, September 30. Mr. Bernard Kirton. "of Sydney, has received a letter from fhe Dutch Attor-ney-General stating the reasons for tbe delay in Mr. Kirton's departure. This says that Mr- Kirton was never arrested in connection with the murder of MrsMac Fie. He could not be allowed to depart for a few days, however, after the mnr- | der. the police being obliged to consider | all the probabilities in respect to every I person who might in some way have been connected with the crime.
