TO FIGHT THE REDS.
THE POWER OF PRAYER. CHURCH AND BOLSHEVISM. ATTACK ON CHJRISTIANITY. (By Cable. -4?ress Association.—Copyright.) (■Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 21. The Rev. Walter M. Smith-Dorrien, Prebendary of Exeter, in a letter to the "Daily Mail," says the churches should fight the "Reds," whose aim is to abolish Christianity. The menace is so great, it demands common action. He recalls that it was not until the fourth year of the Great War that Britain introduced a national day of prayer and intercession. The result was that nation after nation collapsed like a house of cards, and the war ended quickly like a miracle. Let us do similar now. (''Sun.")
