SHIPS' STEWARDS.
NEW AUSTRALIAN AWARD. MELBOURNE, September 21. The Federal Arbitration CSurt to-day fixed a new general rate for marine stewards of £14 15/ a month and keep. The hours of work in terminal ports are not to be more than eight a day, and at sea not more than nine a day.— (A. and "N.Z. Cable.)
