' At the Police Court to-day a lad just ' | over 16 years of age was sentenced to ' a month's imprisonment on five charges of stealing kauri gum and fungus valued lat £19 10/. The magistrate is making application for his admission to an ■ | industrial school. Last month the same ; lad was charged with ihe theft of 12/3, the property of his employer.
