A BOIL-OVER IN MAY. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON. August 23. Prophesying that next May the workers will be by a great struggle, the miners' leader (Mr. A. J. Cook), in a speech at Mansfield, declared that they were going to prepare the machinery to get a fund in London to buy food so that when the struggle came they would have food distributed to the homes of the people. \fter a reference to the Coal Comni.*Sion as '-packed/ Mr. Cook warned the Government not to tempt the Navy and Army too much. He said: -They are our lads. We will capture them by having them controlled by a Labour Govern-ment."-(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
