COAL MINER KILLED.
. « FATALITY AT REWANUI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Wednesday. \n accident that resulted fatally occurred at the Liverpool State collieries at Rewamii this morning. An elderly workman, Mr. Jas. Whelan, aged about 60, was engaged hooking on trucks at the bottom of a jig. A rake of trucks ran away, striking Whelan and causing injuries to his.head and hand. He died in hospital.
