INTERFERED WITH SIGNALS.
AT A RAILWAY CROSSING.
CHARGES AGAINST SIX BOYS.
Six boys made their appearance at the Juvenile Court this morning, when they; pleaded guilty to charges of having inter* fered with the electric bell signals at the Normandy Road railway crossing, ob» structing the working of the railways' and endangering the lives of persona travelling on the railways.
Sergeant Calwell said that the boys had stretched a piece of wire from one line to the other causing the electric bell to ring continuously. It was a dangerous thing to do and a fatal accident might easily have resulted. On promising the magistrate, Mr. T. K. Hunt that they would not do such silly acts again, all were admonished and discharged.
