RIOTS IN SHANGHAI.
FOOD STORES LOOTED. LONDON, August 14. Bands of strikers at Shanghai rioted and looted food shops as the result of non-payment of strike pay. The police were helpless. They fired once, wounding one man. Eventually labour officials and the municipal police restored order. (Reuter.) .
