BUSINESS IN DUNEDIN.
BUn.DING TRADES BUSY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. The building trade seems to be as busy as ever, though there is not a dearth of skilled, tradesmen, as was the case a few months ago. This no doubt due to the fact that local builders have been able to secure first-class men from other centres, and many, are apparently settling down here. There seems to be every prospect that the present boom will be far from an end even when the exhibition buildingß have been completed.' Painters and decorators are also reaping a rich harvest, as everybody seems anxious-to make their business premises and dwelling houses as attractive as possible during the exhibition period. With so many big- advertising contracts on hand signwriters are also mufeh in demand.'
