JJ.OXTIJIA- .MEETING. Mr. Gpo. Hennlng presided over the i::oiilhly meeting of tlie council of the Auckland Automobile Association last J«Jflhe Minister of Public 'Works advised that the Department could not see its way to carry road posts and signs freight free-—Received. It was decided to support the Otorohanga Chamber of Commerce In its efforts to secure an overhead bridge at the level crossing In that town. In pursuance of the association's new policy of appointing agents in country towns, svernl appointments were made. Eighty-five new members were elected.
