VERDICT OF SUICIDE.

1 REG. OAKLEY'S DEATH. "He appears to have had some financial worry, but nothing serious," eaid Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., this morning at the completion of the inquest into the death of Reg. R. Oakley, aged 29, the well-known amateur magician, who wa3 found dead on Sunday night with a gas tube, with the gas escaping, near him. The coroner returned a verdict of suicide. Dr. Tewsley stated that he was called to deceased' 3 flat in St. Paul Street at 10.45 p.m. on Sunday. He found him ! dead in bed. The appearance of the I body suggested that death had been due to gas-poisoning. At the time of his death deceased wa3 managing a typewriter business.
