(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAWERA, Wednesday. As a curtain-miser to the RangitikeiTaranakt match, Central Taranaki played South Taranaki. The result was a win for Central by 14 points to 3. The interprovlncial match resulted in a win for Taranaki by 14 points to 12. The game, as Ihe scores indicate, was closely contested, there being little between the teams, lv the second half linnuitikel had the advantage and gave a good exhibition of football.
